Life Saving Diagnostics!

Detecting biomarkers and bacteria in less 30 minutes.

About Us

CEXAL LTD is a Scottish-based biotech company revolutionizing microbial testing through the use of a novel class of biosensors.

Since 2021, we have invested in the development of rapid, easy-to-use, point-of-need diagnostics (30 minutes or less) that significantly surpass current gold-standard methods for microbial detection.

Compared to other rapid diagnostic companies, our technology:

  • Is made with only by two DNA probes
  • Can be used directly on clinical or environmental samples
  • Does not require equipment (readers), except in specific cases
  • Provides definitive results comparable to laboratory methods

Products

We can provide a wide range of molecular assays for bacterial testing (genotyping and phenotyping) and small-molecule analysis, all powered by our proprietary core technology.

FluoCDx Platform

Detect bacteria in 5 minutes and provides antibiotic susceptibility testing in 30.
All in a single step.

RapidPath Platform

a 30-minute bacterial genotyping test

Nanosens Platform

a 30-minute small molecule test

StreamTube

A single-step bacterial pre-enrichment sampling collection tube
